MBM Resources Berhad (MBMR) is part of the Med-Bumikar Mara Sdn Bhd (MBM) group of companies, with diverse interests including manufacturing, leisure and motor trading.
Its motor-related businesses are grouped under Bursa Malaysia main board-listed MBMR.
MBMR was incorporated in 1993 as a private limited company and was converted to a public limited company on 16 February 1994.
It was listed in February 1995.

Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua): Malaysia's second national car company, involved in the manufacture, assembly, marketing and distribution of motor vehicles. Perodua's plant has the capacity to produce 200,000 units of vehicles per annum and is constantly being upgraded to meet increasing demand for its cars. Perodua is a successful joint-venture with Daihatsu Motor Corporation of Japan.

Daihatsu (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd: the sole distributor of Daihatsu vehicles in Malaysia. Daihatsu is the market leader in the commercial vehicle segment with Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 4,500 to 5,000kg, accounting for over 40% share of this segment. It has established itself as a reliable brand with an extensive sales and service network. Today, our sales and service network has expanded to 13 branches, 46 authorised dealers, and 12 service and parts centres in Peninsular and East Malaysia. In other words, that means total convenience for our customers. In addition, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, DMMS Sdn Bhd, it is the largest dealer of Perodua vehicles in Malaysia.

MANUFACTURING
Oriental Metal Industries Sdn Bhd (OMI): A joint-venture with Central Motor Wheel Co. Ltd and Toyota Tsusho Corporation of Japan to manufacture steel wheels for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. OMI remains the only producer of steel wheels in Malaysia and supplies to the national car companies.
Summit Vehicles Body Works Sdn Bhd: Manufacturer of truck bodies, box vans, trailers and tankers as well as repair and maintenance of vehicle bodies.
